Who’s behind it

15+ years designing and drafting mechanical and structural work across South Africa and New Zealand — bulk-material handling equipment, industrial tanks and vessels, conveyor systems, structural steel, marine deck equipment and specialist transport gear. Alongside that, I’ve taken on independent contract projects for years too — custom architectural lighting and fixtures, HVAC components, and composite watersports gear among them.

Diplomas in Mechanical Draughting and Structural (Engineering) Draughting — not a registered engineer, and I’m upfront about that. Where a job needs a stamped Design Verification, I bring in a partner engineering firm to get it signed off.

Parametrix is currently a side project alongside full-time work as a Mechanical Designer — I’m taking on select jobs now, with the aim of growing this into something bigger over time.

Need it signed off? For jobs that need a stamped Design Verification, I work with a partner engineering firm to get it certified — so you get independent design plus a proper sign-off when it matters.
